Further transfers and promotions in tha Police Force aro annquneed. ' Sub-Inspec-tor Willis is transferred from Wellington , to Dunedin to replace SubJnspeotor Murray, who had been promoted jx> the rank of inspector. The latter is transferred from Dunedin to New Plymouth, where he will take chargo of the district; Inspector Hutton, of New Plymouth,: is transferred to Gisborne to replace Inspector Cussolls, who is transferred to Christchurch to fill tJie vacancy caused by tho proniotion of Inspector Hendrey to the i rank of superintendent in eharjro of tha Canterbury Division.
