LEVIN STOCK SALE.
The Xew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report that, at Levin on Tuesday they offered a fairly heavy yarding to the usual attendance of buyers. In sympathy with Fcildltic and Palmerstbn North u?arkets, sto.'c stos't changed hand on a lower level o£ prices. Fat stock also felt the effect of the depression, so that they had dlffldilty ml clearing their entries. Dairy cows were almost neglected, but this was due, no doubt, to the large nurtbef of clearing sales lately held. They quote:—Small lambs', 6s; light wethers, 14s 6d; store cows', £5 to £6 10s: dairy cows,. £5 to £17; store pigs, 12s 6d to 245; weaners, 5s 6d to 10s; porkere, £2 ss.
