STOCK SALE
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., and Wright, Stephenson and Co,, Ltd., report on the Johusoniville fat stock sale held on 20th July as follows :— We yarded 330 wethers, 50 lambs, 32 bullocks, 16 cowe and heifers, 15 veakrs. There was a keen demand for all classes of stock, and prices showed 1 a marked improvement on last week's salo, and the quality of the yarding was good. We quote : Cattle.—Best bullocks, £15 7s 6d, £14 17s 6d ; £14 15s, £14 7s 6d ; medium bullocks, £13 ss, £11 10s, £11 ss, £11; best cows, £11 ss. £9 12s 6i; lighter cows, £7 17s 6d, £7 12b 6d, £7 2s 6d ; vealers; £4, £3 17s, £3 7s, £2 Bs. Sheep.—Best wethers, 25s lOd, 25s Bd, 25s sd; good wethers. 22s 6d, 225, 21s 6d, 21s 3d; Jambs, 17s 9d, 16s Id, 15s lid;' 15s, 14s. _____
