The-weekly nieet-ing of-th« Wellington Football Association was held last evening, at .the Y.M.C'.A. rooma 4 ...whbn there ■were present:—Messrs. W. Auld (chairman), A. v Williams (hc-n. secretary), H,^ Yeoman, O. Webster, P. '■: BanNs, R; 1Hcndry, H. Liversage H. L. Godber, A. E. Wells, L. White, and O. F. Ward (delegate). Entries for all divisional cup competitions will close on Wednesday next. I The Canterbury Football Association j wrote, accepting 30th July as the-fixture j lit thp Basin Reserve for the Brown {Shield giarte v. Wellington, andi asked j that a junior division game (Canterbury y: Wellington) ■ be-'played as ,a curtain-! i'aiser. The committee agreed to play I the.match in question. •The, Nelson Football Association _wrote-,, j asking for a definite date,when it was ) decided to- send' a Wellington team to Nelson. The; matter was left in. the hands of the secretary to report. , The Rovers Association Club asked for j permission to play a match at Martinborough on 30lh July. Tlie matter was referred! to the boys (sixth division) • subbommittee.-- •'■ ■ , ;j , * ]' The Palmerstoin North Association wrote, suggesting 1 that they wouldi like to enter a challenge for , the Brown Shield. It .was pointed out that the challenge must come the New' Zealand Council,"and tliat their challenge wouldl them probably be too late this season. , . ./ The transfer of H. Boadle from Petone.to Thistl-e Was fefused. ' It was decided to replay the match- St. j /P«ter's v.
