Douglas explained that he was unable to be present when the list was being called over. "I take it that this is a court of equity," he remarked. "No," rejoined Mr. Day, amidst laughter, "it is not a court of equity." His .Worship aagreed to reinstate the cases, but said that in future no similar applications would be considered. On Saturday, hot lunch will be served at the Astor Dining- Rooms from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m.
