' OTTAWA, 18th July. ■ At Toronto, Norman Peach and Clarence Todd (of the Australia^ Davis Cup team) won the Canadian Open, Doubles Championship, defeating Bennett and Holmes (Winnipeg), 6-4, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4. The game was keenly contested, and play was fairly even until the last two sets, when the Australians got the upper hand. Todd' was in particularly good form.
.Bennett and Holmes'have been chosen to represent Canada in the/ Davis Cup matches.
