WASHINGTON, 18th July. Mr. D, F. Houston, ex-Secretary to the Treasury", has revealed a letter written by Mr. Wilson to Mr. Lloyd George, pointing out that the United States was not prepared to remit any part of the British debt to the United States, but adding, "the refunding of the debt will do move to strengthen friendly ■relations between the United State's and Britain than any other course dealing with the amc."
