THE SPRINGBOKS' VISIT
Messrs. G. W. Slade,. E. Wylie, G. Little, H. Paton, and H. E. Combs (secretary), of the New-" Zealand Rugby Union, attended last evening's meeting of the Wellington Rug^by Union to discuss details as to management of Saturday's big game. Repairs to fences, the placing and selling of form spaces, gate arrangements, and the like were discussed and an informal joint committee will see to the .carrying out of details.
OFFICIAL PROGRAMME. i -The official programme arranged is as follows:—
•■ Team arrives from Masterton, 6.50 p.m., Thursday.
Friday.—Run at Athletic Park; 12.15 p.m., civic reception at Town Hall; 2 p.m., car ride round the bays, and afternoon tea at Seatoun; 5 p.m., Commercial Travellers' and Federal Clubs will entertain members of the team; 8 p.m., Springboks, members of the Wellington team, and.officials will attend His Majesty's Theatre..
Saturday.—The big game, dinner at the Grand Hotel, and the departure of the team for the South Island by s.s. Mararoa.
