PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNEY
The annual meeting of delegates from Government Departmente in conmection with the ■ Civil Service Rugby tournament was held last evening.
It w-ae agreed that the tournament should be held, as in the pas*, at the close of the present gtnade matches. A vote of tihanks was passed to the retiring executive and secretary, tho Wellington Rugby JJnioo, and the Refere<»' Association.
The new executive voted in wore the following : —Messrs. Gauntlet* (Railways), Paton (Mines), Tcraey (Public Trust), Phaup (G.P.0.), Barker (State Fire), Mulcahy (Audit), a>nd Jameson (Government Insurance), secretary.
