Those lovers of the drama who like action, excitement, and suspense, will find pleasure in "Man's Desire," now showing at'the Empress Theatre, andl starring Lewis Stone. There is much stimulation in this production. Tom Denton, the "straight-shooter," literally and figuratively ; "Bull" Larkin, an abysmal beast and evil genius of the woods ; and gentlo1 Mary Larkin, an exquisite flower in a primitive wilderness, are characters in this thrilling story. Jano Novak as Mary Larkin has a part that fits her admirably. The supporting items include episode 6of "The Silent Avenger," a aomedy, and the latest topical news.
