THEFTS FROM SHOPS
"I would draw your attention to the frequency of these thefts," aaid Sub-In-spector Willis in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when David Thomas pleaded gujlty, before Mr, F. K. Hunt, S.M.1, to tho theft of a sporte coat, valued at £2 16s, the propery of Herb Price, and a pair of lady's shoes, valued at 17s 6d, the property, of Robert Pearson. '. The articles were takon from shops. Thomas, who recently completed a sentence of three months lmprisonmont for theft, was sentenced to another term of a similar length.
