HARRIERS
The Boys' Institnte Harriers hM a very successful run on Thursday evening, the course being from the Institute to Oriental Bay, arid then on to Fvs-ris Bay, across the Kilbirnie Park to the Post Office, and back to the'lnstitute v» Constable-street and Adelaide-rcrtd. W. Watson, the winner of the Palmer Cup, covered the 'distance in tie splendid time of 46 minutes. He, however, conceded one minute to his brother, Bay Watson, who did the cotiase in 46£ minutes, the latter proving the winner. Albert Eyrs tied with the scratch man (W. Watson), Eyre arriving home 1& minutes after Watson. The innior raco was to Vogeltown and back. Bert Wickham and Walter Robinson were scratch men. The distance was covered in 17 minutes. Robinson being the winner. All the competitors were in excellent form as the result of the training received in the .physical-culture classes under Professor ' Manly.
