ANOTHER OLD BOY.

Sir.-r-There is a goodly area of flat land on the western side of Moxham-avonue, between XAII Saints' Church and Goastreet, shown as Town Belt, but quite useless for Town Belt purposes. This land, probably. in combination with portion of tho land fronting Moxham-avenue and with portion of the land fronting the road known as Wellington-road: (being that part of Wellington-road which, runs through Town Belt land), would give splendid sites for the girls' collego buildings, hostels, and playgounds. It gefe tha sun well. The position is near the city, with tram access via' the tunnel, and via Constable-street, and also well situated for avoiding prevailing winds, whilst providing practical facilties for all bidding purposes, and ample spaces for gardens, playgrounds, tennis courts, swimming baths, gymnasium, etc. This large area of most .valuable land, in a favoured situation as to sun, and shelter, and access, forms ideally the position for the girls' college, and sufficient area should be reserved to include all possible purposes in future expansion of population.—l am, etc., FOE THE MOTHERS. 10th May.
