MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Police oases were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court to-day by Mr F X Hunt, S.M. One first-offending inebriate was dealt with in the usual manner. On'a charge of using obscene language :in Post Office Square, Charles T. Storey' ; was fined £3 or 14 days' detention. ' A first . offending- inebriate, Peter M Canon, was also charged with using ■obscene language in the Grand Opera. House, where accused had beon refused admission on account of his condition. He was fined £5, in default 14 days in gaol Sub-Inspector Willis said that this was .accused s seventh appearance for obscene language.
