BOWLING

| A meeting of the Management. Committee of the Wellington. Bowling Centre was held last evening, Mr. F. Meadowcroft, the president, was in -.the chair. There was a representative,attendance of delegates., It was reported that the Junior Pennants had been won for tho season by the Lyall Bay Club, and the Junior Stars by the Central Club. Petone. ' The Upper Hutt Bowling Club forwarded its affiliation fees to the centre, and in consequence it was decidod to take no further action in regard to • removing tho name of the club from the list of affiliated cluba. The treasurer (Mr. W. H. Morrah) submitted tho balance-sheet for <tho year, which opened with a credit balance of £*5 13s sd, and closed with a credit balance of £9 12s lOd. THe receipts for the season amounted to £112 14s Bd, and tho expenditure to £103 Is lOd. It was explained that on account of the annual centre tou-namerit not having been held this season the credit balance was reduced.
