Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegrams from their London house, un<lor dato of the- 28th instant:—"Buttor: Heavy slump. Coal strike stopped saJe in the North for Danish, which went down stte from top of nominal quotation, to-day 2405. Government butter unsaleable until prices brought in a line with free. No quotation for .Australian " "Frozen meat position unchanged. Spot price of lamb firm. Mutton and beof weak, at last quotation."
