PRICE TRIBUNALS TO DISBAND

It is announced by the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. E. P. Lee) that the Prices Investiuation Tribunals, have been informed, that their services will no longer be required. The Minister has thanked them for tha very valuable services they have already rendered to the Government, the Board of Trade, andtho public. The number of investigations made by the tribunals; the Minister added, was much larger than most people thought, and the tribunals had undoubtedly exercised an important restraining 1 influence on the rise of prices. Any price invesilgafcion in future would be conducted by the Department of Industries and Oommerce.~
