All classes of seeds continue to meet with a stagnant market.

Animation in the potato market that marked the beginning of the week has eased. ■ Both Auckland and Wellington were bare of supplies and plenty of epace being available for a week or ten days, heavy Shipments were sent forward. The quantity for April was bigger than for some xears in this month. This may be interpreted as an indication that local supplies have run out sooner in the North than is usual,. The price averaged £3 5e to £3 10s at country stations.
