SHORTT'S THEATRE.
Tfie change of programme at Shortt's Theatre is beadied by a special Metro production,, "The Hope," featuring Jack Mulhall, Ruth Stanehotise, Frank Elliott, amd Margaret de la Mofct. "The Hope" is staged with backgrounds that cost a very considerable fottune. Among the big scenes aw those iof the great ErnWisW Derby, of frontier fighting in India, of an.earthquake in Italy, and of a volcano in eruption. The joint authors of the tale are Cecil Raleigh and Henry Hamilton. The story is frankly melodramatic, but it is a possible etory, which all should enjoy.
