PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Upper Hutt Town Board, by virtue of the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act,' 1913," proposes to raise a Special Loan. (a) The purpose for which the Loan is required is to instal Coal Gas Works at Upper Hutt. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £15,000. '' ■ . (c) The proposed security for the Loan is a Special Rate to be levied over th^-whole of the rateable property in; the Town District of Upper Hutt on the basis of the unimproved 1 value, sufficient to provide interest on the Loan and a Sinking Fund of 1 per cent, per annum for the. period of the Loan until same is paid off.
