PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Upper Hutt Town Board, by virtue of the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act,' 1913," proposes to raise a Special Loan. (a) The purpose for which the Loan is required is to instal Coal Gas Works at Upper Hutt. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed is £15,000. '' ■ . (c) The proposed security for the Loan is a Special Rate to be levied over th^-whole of the rateable property in; the Town District of Upper Hutt on the basis of the unimproved 1 value, sufficient to provide interest on the Loan and a Sinking Fund of 1 per cent, per annum for the. period of the Loan until same is paid off. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, in terms ol Section 10 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1921," that a Poll of Ratepayers of the Upper Hutt Town District will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 18th day of May, 1921, on the proposal to borrow £15,000 by way of Special Loan for the purpose of installing Coal Gas Works at Upper Hctt, and I apoint the Town Board Office, Upper Hutt, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7, p.m.. as the place and'time for the taking of the said Poll.
