SMALL SHOPKEEPERS' HOURS

CHRISTCHURCH, 27th April.
Judgment has been given by Mr. 3. E. M'Carthy, S.M., on applications by small shopkeepers for an extension of. trading hours. Provisional extension was granted until 7 o'clock on four days of the week and 9 o'clock on one day, a condition being that the ordinary halfholiday must be observed.
