REDUCTION.
At a dinner on one occasion a professor thought he would ask a cloakroom, attendant a fow questions about his memory.
Ab the attendant handed him his hat ho said, "How do you know this ono is mine?"
"I don't know that, Ruh," waa tho ans wcr.
"Then why do you giva it to me?" queried the professor. '"Cause yo' gave it to me, sue." *
