FORD STOCK
NO TOT FOB WALL-STREM 1.
Henry Ford has no intention of letting financiers juggle with the stock of hia concerns. There has been much talk of the prospect of Ford stock being offered in the market, but a recent interview with the famous manufacturer seems to settle the matter.
" I have no idea that- there will be »ny kind of 'Ford finanoinj?' whatever," he said. "Of course, the time might come when we feel we ought to take the public in with us as partners—bub I have no plan of that oharacter in mind now—none whatever. I can't make that too plain."
After a pause, Ford resumed with an earnestness not noticed previously. Extending his arms, he said, " oue vning is certain. Before I would allow an issue of Ford stock to get on the New York Exchange to be run up and down by Wallstreet brokers, and fie made a plaything for thoir profit, I would tear down the whole Ford plant, briok by brick, with those very hands of mine."
