Teams representing the Town Hall staff and the Electric Lighting staff met at cricket. Battinjr first, Town Hall compiled 197 runs (Thomas 48, Milhurn 36, A. Smith 25, A. J. Ames 22 (not out), Scott 14, Nicholls 13, ami Griffiths 15). The Electric Lighting staff replied with 80 runs (Cusack 52 not out, Mamer.y 13). Bowling for Electric Light,, Cusack took, five wiokets for 53, Winters three for 32, and Joues one for 13. Bowling for Town Hall, Griffitho took five for 19, W. Alexander one for 10, and Nicholli two for 26.
