The Government has -been informed! that Krupp's plan to establish hig factories in South America, ostensibly for the manufacture of peace-time products. United States agents have been instruct: ed confidentially to report regarding the possibility of their conversion to the production of war material.
[It was recently reported that the Chilian Government had granted Krupps a conoesoion to acquire land and build fa-ctories. A large number of German workmen wore to go to Chili.]
