(Received February 28, 9 a.m.) BERLIN, 26th February. li' connection with the Allgemeine Zeitung's warning the explanation is given by the Berlin correspondent. of a | Munich paper that Bhrhardt, the'chief supporter of the Kapp revolt, proposed to the industrial magnate, Stinnes, that if the German Government again failed in its negotiations with the' Entente Stiivnes should overthrow it "and assume a dictatorship. Stinnes refused, and described the plan as a crazy one. It is stated thi»t Ludenddrf previously made a similar refusal. The correspondent states that Ehrhardt's following does not exceed four thousand.
[The following message was published on Saturday:—As the result of violent pan-German propaganda following on the decisions 'of the Paris Conference, apprehensions are entertained of an outbreak of disturbances in Germany during the London Conference. The possibility that a" coup d'etat may be attempted is being discussed. The Allgemeine Zeitung publishes a warning against heedless, action, which will only renew foreign suspicion, and says that* Germany's military leaning may be Imputed by the German.proletariat to the whole of the middle class instead of to a few political adventurers.]
