EMPRESS THEATRE.
"The Idol Dancer," a Griffith f".lm, featuring Clarina Seymour, is the attraction at the Empress Theatre. The play tells the romance and adventure of a beautiful white girl, cast away among the mixed communities of the South Sea Islands, where she meete the man from overseas. Some idea of the enterprise involved in its production may be gathered from the-' following managerial announcement :—"This is the picture that nearly cost the lives of D. W. Griffith and his whole company. They were adrift, helpless, on the ocean for Says, and the company had every reaarm to remember their trip to the tropical islands to IThe Idol Dancer,' in the yacht Grey Duck. Good supports are shown.
