ARCHITECTS' CONFERENCE
(ST TELISKAPH.—PREI9 ASSOCIATION.)
NAPIER, 25th February. Th/S conference of architects concrodedi to-day, when the first meeting of the n»w council was held- Officers were elected as follow : —President, Mr. G. R. Ford (Wanganui]; hon. secretary, Mr. G. Young (Wellington); hon. treasurer, Mr. W. Feilding (Wellington). Various committees were also appointed. It was decided to refer the question of the revising of the educational syllabus to the committee on education.
The following were appointed' a special committee to report to branches on the question of the revision of the conditions of contract : The president and Messrs. Crichton, Swan, Ohatfieldi Mnnnings, and Page. It was resolved that the next annual meeting be held at Wanganui. ,
