TWELVE VESSELS IN THE STREAM.

There are now twenty-five idle ves-. sels in Wellington Harbour, the- additions since yesterday being the scow Magic (froni Sandy Bay), the liner Otarama (from Liverpool, via Auckland), the Kapiti (from Picton), and the liner Rirautaka (from Southampton and Loridon, via Auckland). Twelve of the vessels are at anchor in the stream. , These are: —

Earanga (11,500 tans), to load for Home. ■ ■' Garbeta (5327 tons), to discharge coal from Newcastle. Karma (1948 tons), to discharge general cargo from Auckland. Koranui (4039 tons),*to discharge coal - from Newcastle. Dorset (7630 tons), to complete Home,ward loading. Ruahine (10,758 tons), to complete Homeward loading. Pakeha (78iJ9 tons), to complete Homeward loading. Athenic (12,345 tons), to commence discharge of cargo from Home. Rosamond (721 tons), to discharge general cargo and timber from Greymouth. Rimutaka (8893 tons), to continue discharge of cargo from Home. Northumberland (12,160 tons), to con-, tinue discharge of cargo from New York. ■ Otarama (7759 tons), to continue discharge of cargo from Home. The remainder of the idle fleet is composed mainly of coastal steamers, \vhich are tied up at the Queen's Wharf. Oversea boats due at Wellington during the next few days include the Kumara (due to-night from Wanganui), the Port Hacking (due to-morrow from • Napier), Marama (due to-morrow from Sydney), Manuka (due on Monday from Sydney), West Camargo (due on Wednesday from Napier), Zealandic (due' on Wednesday from Wanganui), and Admiral Codrington (due on Wednesday from' Sydney). It is probable that, with the exception of 'passenger boats, all these" vessels will anchor' in the stream.
