LABOUR STATEMENT DENIED,

The employers flatly deny the Labour statement' that manufacturers are d-esir-ous of a general strike, and tl»t anl agreement exi&tA for putting off employees to cause unemployment. They claim that they hay« done, and axe doing, everything in • their power to prevent unemployment or disruption, of producing power, and have loyally obeyed the Arbitration Court awards. They are p-repared now to do anything reasonable to prevent an increase- in unemployment.
