[Mary Bowles,, a girl of 16, was tried by court-martial on a charge of being in possession of a revolver, a mstol, and a mnchine-gun. When captured she was weo-ring a steel body guard under her coat and carrying a machine-gun wrapped in' a waterproof covering. She was also carrying a book entitled "Hotchkiss Portable Machine-gun.
