SENSATION AT FITZRQY
BANK ROBBERS CAPTURED.
(CMIKD PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPynWHI.) MELBOURNE, 26th February. Just before closing time two armed masked men entered the Fitzroy branch of a bank and held up the accountant, a clerk, and two lady clerks at the revolver point. They secured several bundles of notes from the tills and decamped. The police chafed them, and after severe struggle captured two American seamen named Bemhardt and Frasier. They recovered stolen notes to the value of £460.
