BRITANNIA THEATRE.
Frank Mayo takes the leading role in "Hitchin- Posts," now screening at the Britannia Theatre. The star in this story is a combination of gambler, gentleman, duellist, adventurer. As a gambler he wilts the last asset of a war-brok«n Southerner—-four spirited racehorses. As a gentleman he attempts to return them to the daughter. As a duellist he driv<ss from the country a scoundrel who menaces the girl. As an adventurer he journeys to a new country in the West, and, with the help of his fast horses, wins; a race for land. The 13th episode-of "The Vanishing Dagger" and a bright comedy complete a fine programme.
