LONDON, 23rd February. Tho Daily Telegraph's correspondent at Milan states that an attempt to apply Communist principles to a shipping company failed. The Nitti, Government in 1920 gave a. Genoese Communist agitator, Captain Giulietti, a number of ships, valued at 60,000,000 lire, in order to constitute a Communist . shipping company Other ships were added later from Government sources at nominal prices. , After a year's experiment, the vunture ended in a.formidable.deficit, Captain Giulietti pointing out that he had been, forced to engage a crew, of 52 to do work ordinarily done by 26. Dining arid' smoke'roonis for the craw had greatly increased tho expenses. The vessels may ha,ve to be sold in order to pay the wages of the crews.
