PARAMOUNT AND ARTORAFT.
Now showing at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres is "Below the S"urface," a stirring story of the sea, featuring Hobart Bosworth, who gives a. sterling performance of a father fighting against a woman for the honour of his son. "Below the Surface" is essentially a marine tale, the scenes being set,in a rugged fishing village. The search for a sunken treasure, the foundering of a submarine, a- collision at sea, thrilling wider-water feate> and the sensational rescue of a diver, whose air-lines are in danger, 'are only some ,of the incidents with which the picture is packed. Lloyd. Hughes, Grace Darmond, and others support Hobart Bosworth, and sea scenes of immense grandeur are pictured. Also showing are Roscoe Arbuckle, Tom Foranan, Driving Oummings, and Mabel Julienne Scott, in "The RoundUp," a comedy drama.
