METHODIST CONFERENCE

OPENING SERVICE TO-NIGHT,

The official opening of the ninth annual conference of the Methodist Church ff .New Zealand will take place at the Tara-naki-street Methodist Church to-night. The inaugural address will be delivered by the President-elect, the Rev. W. Grigg, and other business will include the roll call and the election of officers. Singing during the evening will be led by the Tara-naki-street Church Choir. Representatives, to the Conference have arrived and to-day the Home Missions Committee and the Board of Examiners have been engaged in drawing up reports to be submitted to the Conference.
