Trombone Trios.—Palmefston '• North, 96 points, 1; Hamilton, 95, 2; Hastings, 94, 3; Marton, 93, 4.'
E Flat Soprano Cornet Solo.—W. L. Francis,.. Palmerston North, 97. points, 1; Handing, 'Masterton, ■: 96 p_oihts, 2; L. Simonson"; Hastings, 94 points, 3. Youths' Fours.—Star 1, West End 2, Walrau. Also started: Blenheim, Pov--erty ,Bay, ■ and Pictpn. - West End led early, but Star mowed them down, and ■won by a, lsngth Time, 6min 10 l-ssec.
