ANOTHER CONFERENCE TO
MORROW.
Tho question of the payment of -abonus to seamen will be further considered at a conference to-morrow between i the Executive Council of the Seamen's'" Federation and the shipowners. The owners' offer, it is Understood, was on the lines of the Arbitration Court's award to the stewards —10s per month. This offer has heen considered ,by the seamen, and, although there is a feeling in some quarters that a' settlement will be reached on'a basis of the offer made, the Seamen's Federation has given no indication of its attitude in the matter. To-morrow's .conference is awaited with considerable interest.
