MANUKA .ARRIVED.
The ' Union ■ Company's .'intercolonial steamer Manuka arrived in the stream at Wellington shortly before 3 o'clock this -afternoon from. Sydney direct. She is to. berth, at ..the Queen's Wharf about 6 o'clock this 'evening to disembark passengers. The Manuka will leave for Lyttelton to-morrow night, returning to Wellington on Thursday morning, and sailing at 5 p.m. the same day for Sydney direct. .' :.
AKAWA SAILS TO-MORROW,
The Shaw, Saylll, and. Albion liner Arawa wlil leave Wellington at daybreak' , to-mor-row for Southampton and London, via Panama. A cable message received to-day by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company stated that the Corinthic sailed from Southampton on the 3rd February or Wellington and Blurt, via Panama. The Her Ins expected to arrive at Wellington about the lSth.March.
, MOANA DUE ON WEDNESDAY.
Cabled advice has been received b the Union Compfyany-to the effect that the Moana left Sydney at noon on Saturday for Wellington direct. The vessel, which is bringing 244 pas- ( sengers is due here on Wednesday. ".
The Paloona is.to leave Punedin to-morrow for Wellington. She is due here on Thurs day, and will sail the same day for Melbourne, taking passengers and cargo. .
The barque Raupo with a cargo of coal from Newcastle was ofi the Welling, ton Heads this afternoon.
An unexpected arrival at Wellington this morning was the tramp steamer Vilsjhig ■ Star, from the United Kingdom, via Panama. The vessel, which has no cargo to discharge here, is to the agency of W. and R. Fletcher (N.Z.) Ltd., and is to load meat at New Zealand ports for Home. She is expected to'berth at the Glasgow Wharf during the afternoon..!. The C. and D. liner Port Nicholsoni which arrived at Wellington on Saturday afternoon from Napier, will.leave at daylight on Thuredayfor London, via, Panama.
Butter and cheese for transhipment at Wellington to oversea liners will be loaded at New. Plymouth this week by the Corinna.
According to a cable message received at the local office of the Shaw, Savill, and •-■Albion Company to-day the liner Mania arrived 'at I«ondon on the 4th February from New Zealand. ■.' .
