The committee wish to draw the attention of athletes to an alteration in tho conditions of the tug-of-war at the Newtown Park on Labour Day. In deference to the wishes of a number of. intending competitors, the time of pull is altered from ten to five minutes. Entries close with the secretary on 13th October. Entries for tho mile, 220 and 100 yards, under the control of tho N.Z.A.A.A., close with Mr. A. Kitto on the same date.
