MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., dealt with police cases at the Magistrate's Court today. Joseph Carroll was fined 10s for a second offence of drunkenness, and Edward J. Garvoy a, like amount for a third offence. " Garvey was also prohibited.
William L. Pollock admitted having been drunk while in charge of 'a. twohorse .lorry, and having used obscene language in Ridddford-street. He was fined £2 upon the first charge, and- was ordered to come up for sentence when, called upon oh-the second.
A first offending; inebriate appeared before Mr. W. H. Coy, J.P., at tho Mount Cook Police Court this morning, and was cojavictejd and discharged..
