DAYLIGHT BAKING

A conference of various bakers and pastrycooks' employees' unions is being held in Wellington to-day for the purpose of considering daylight baking and other important matters. In regard to daylight baking, it has been pointed out that legislation will be necessary to obtain that innovation. Delegates to the conference will meet members of" the Wellington Operative Bakers and Pastrycooks' Union to-morrow night with the object of securing the co-operation of the local workers.
