WESLEY CHURCH

The Circuit quarterly meeting of the Board of Management of the Wesley Church, Taranaki-street, was held last evening, and was presided over by the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse. A review of the work of the Circuit during the quarter revealed fair progress. I'he membership, allowing for the usual fluctuations, was about the same as that of last quarter. The Circuit finances showed a credit of upwards of £200. Contributions to Foreign Mission Fund for the year totalled £320, which was regarded as most satisfactory. A member of the Bible Class was, on t-he motion of Eev. Mr. Bellhouse, unanimously recommended by the meeting as a student for training as a minister of, the Church. Delegates were appointed to attend the annual Synod to bo held at Masterton next month.
