BYLAWS BROKEN
Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., dealt with bylaw cases at the Magistrate's Court yesterday. Failure to have approved registration numbers affixed to their motor vehicles cost Ernest Edelman and James M'Quirk fines and costs amounting to 24s and Bobert H. J. Houghton 17s. Geoffrey Stevens explained when charged with having fail' ed to obey the "stop" signal of a constable on point duty that he had mistaken the sign. He was fined 2fts, with 7s costs. Algar L. Traill admitted hiving ridden a motor cycle without lights in AdelaideH'oad. He was also lined 20s iind costs. For allowing stock to wander, 'Paul Olsen and B. W. Flynn 10s and costs, and Lavington M'Williams 5s and josts.
