MR. ASQUITH'S REPLY
COALITION'S BANKRUPT POLICY
(ENITZD PRBSS ASSOCIATION— COPTRIaHT.) . LONDON, 11th October.: Mr. Asquith, interviewed, described Mr. Lloyd Gecrge's speech as a declaration of insolvency on the part of the Coalition Government. "The only Irish policy he offers is a repudiation of D6~' minion Home Rule and the condonation of the hellish policy of reprisals and the attempt to answer murder by murder, and outrage by terrorism. It is not Goyernmerit, but anarchy. I will deal with the matter of the supposed strategic dangers of a Dominion settlement when I review the whole situation at Ayr on ■Thursday."
