CATHOLIC HOSTEL CONCERT.

The benefit concert for the Catholic Hostel at the Town Hall to-night should be welj attended. The committee has gone to considerable trouble in arranging a very attractive programme, which should prove an enjoyable one. St. Mary of the Angels' Choir and the Marist Brothers' Boys' Choir, winners of the recent competition items, will repeat their test pieces. Mr. Will Goudie will sing "Even Bravest Heart" and "The Ne'er Do Well"; Mr Kevin Dillon, champion elocutionist, will recite "The Windlass" an<? "Kicking Strap's Race"; Master- Jack Watters, champion boy soprano soloist, will sine "The May Morning,*' and with his brother Cecil will sing "The Rising of the Sun." Master Winston M'Carthy will sing "The Wedding of Sandy M'Nab" and "More Scotch" ; Miss. Mary G-lavin will give a selection on the Irish warpipes, and Mr. Whitehouso will play a cornet solo, "The Rosary" ; Misses Jean aaid Thelma M'Kenzie and Master Willie Brown and David Thomas will dance the- "Reel o' Tullocli," and the Hibernian Irish Warpipe Bund will make its first public' appearance, not only in Wellington but in the Dominion- Mine Emeixon will act at accompanist
