WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION

In the annual report of the Wellington. Lawn Tennis Association, to be presented at the annual meeting to-night, it is stated that the. past seaßon was an. interesting and critical one. The hope is expressed that it will be possible to increase activities during the coming season. Regarding a lack of courts, the report states that application has been made to the Town Clerk for the use of a portion of one of the city reserves for tennis courts. Should a suitable ground be obtained the' inter-club matches could be resumed on a pre-war basis. The lack of courts during the past season was 1 responsible for no inter-olub matches being played, and the system of chatlenge matches inaugurated proved a failure. .< ST. PETER'S CLUB.
