SENIOR CADET RUGBY TOURNAMENT
Th« final of. the Senior Cadet Rugby Football Tournament was played at Lya-11 Bay on Saturday between teams representing the Petone and Kilbirnie companies. At the conclusion of the first spell Petone protested on the ground that a member of the Kilbirnie team was not a member of the district cadet company. The referee upheld the appeal, and awarded the game to Petone.
