SEPTEMBER STATISTICS.

The British Board of Trade returnsshow that in September imports amounted to £152,692,339, being an increase of £4,105,767 over September, 1919. Exports totalled £117,455,913, an increase of £50,955,285, and re-exports £13,350,----608, a decrease of £2,398,070.
The principal increases in imports were 1 grain and flour, £13,225,726; manufactured oils, fats, and resins, 53,980,683. There, were- decreases- in raw cotton, £7,----225,283; raw oilseeds, mite, etc., £7,836,----18 9; leather and manufactures of leather, £3,760,124; meat, £3,652,691. Increases in exports werte cotton yarns and manufactures, £19,919,554; vehicles (including locomotives, ships, and aircraft), £668,059; iron and steel and manufactures of them, £5,439,273: woollen worsted yarns and their manufactures. £3,627,614.
