A SPY'S STORY

Lloyd's Sunday News publishes a confession by John Hahn, the British-born son of Germans, who has been released after serving five years and three months in Portland Prison. He was tried with Karl Frederick Muller at the Old Bailey early in June, 1915, on a charge of epionagc. Mallei was executed on 23rd June in the Tower of London, but the Jikdges accepted Hahn's plea that ho was Muller's tool.
Halm describes how, after his shop was wrecked by a mob, ho was faced with starvation, and was caught in Midler's net. Muller spied on the Grand Fleet, ,'tnd reported the situation on tha East Coast, thus leading up to bombardments. He asked . Hahn. to report Iho number and 'size of guns turned out from Woolwich Arsenal weekly. Since his release Hahn has started a. email business in the country, under an assumed name.
